I know I saw it before but can find it now. Does anyone know the part # for the keyless gas door latch for the 08 SG. Thanks

Thanks I'll check. Seems like I read the 07 was different.

Let me know what you find out. I have an 08 SG as well. HD Online says this part is only good to the 07's.

A friend made the change on his '08 Road Glide while here at Bike Week. The lockable push button still fits the '07 & earlier models, but the smooth push button moves the spring to work on the '08's. He bought one of each & used the spring from the smooth button to make the lockable work.

These will work on the '08s, I have one on mine. The only thing different is the fact you do not have to change the hinge on the '08s, the '07 and down were not spring loaded, so you had to change the hinge in oder for the lid to pop up, the '08s are already spring loaded.

Thank you for that info. I called my dealer just two days ago and was told no, it won't fit because of the new size tanks on the 08's. After reading this post, I called again just order one, and now a different parts guy says' Sure, it'll fit, but they are all on back order. Arrgh. Oh well, I love this forum!
