Default Drying the Bike?

Okay, tell me your story. What is the best machine to dry the bike and who has the best deal. I used my leaf blower yesterday, and it did not do the trick....

Sorry I can't resist, don't buy the vacuum/blower from Harbor Freight unless you want some stock pots!! Their 3hp vacuum/blower is a good one, but I didn't get the correct order.

I have a Cycle dry blower . I think it was $40 from Eastern. It works great. Start at the top and work your way. No spots at all.

Actually, the harbor Freight vac/blower is AWESOME. Just not so good if they send you the wrong product, Ironhead had a cs problem but that doesn't affect the effectiveness of this blower. For less than $50, there is nothing you can buy that does a better job or is easier to use.

S100, spray, wash and a cheap 120 volt AC leaf blower.

Works everytime for me.

I used to use a leaf blower on my old bike...however, now I have these micro-fiber cloths that make quick work of drying, and spot free. The leaf blower was alright, but left 'splashes' on my windshield when I was drying other parts of my bike. I really like these new cloths I use now

The quality of water you are using has as much an effect as how you dry it. I have an "Air Force Blaster" cycle dryer and if I wash it in my home town....spots everywhere. Wash it at the girlfriends.....no spots.Buddy uses that Mr. Clean and swears by it. Guess I'm gonna have to try it.

My experience with the Mr Clean system was not a good one - the pressure drop at the nozzle during the wash and rinse cycle was so great that I had to use a sponge or cloth to help remove the dirt from the bike/car. The rinse water (de-ionized, a good idea) also came our fairly slowly and I swear it took longer to use the system than if I used the old fashioned method. Either my house pressure was too low to make it work effectively, or, it's not a good product. Mine is in the local landfill. To dry my bike, I finally bit the bullet and bought the Air Blaster. Although pricey, it works very well. Been using it for 3 years without any problems.
