I use this JC Whitney Cycle Dryer. It's priced $49 and works great!

I use my air compressor. Works great.
Due to the high volume and pressure of air from a compressor, you could do damage to parts of the bike. Have seen water get into electrical connections due to the pressure, where no water would otherwise find, also seen rubber boots etc.. torn by the air pressure.

Compressors are NOT recommended for these reasons.
I thought about that, but if you run the compressor, I know on mine I can control the psi I let out, so while the tank may be at 150 psi, I can control output down to 25 psi for example.

I didn't post the quote you referenced, but did post a question about compressors. My thinking was, w/ the right end on the hose, you could more accurately direct air, than say w/ a larger blower, since the smaller hose and fitting theoretically would be easier to control, and as I said, on my compressor, I can control the output, so it seemed like a good idea to me, but I'm not closed minded, just thinking out loud...

I can't believe I bought a blow dryer for my bike[:@]. I purchased and 8 hp Master Blaster.
Just arrived today, so I'll let ya know how well if works.

I'm seriously thinking of disabling my pay pal account. One thing I know for sure, my paypal account and late night surfing here can be EXPENSIVE!

OK, so I am thinking that the 4hp one would be more than strong enough to do the job.
If you're thinking of going with the 8 hp, you might want to check out the 4 hp one.

They do work well!

Okay, tell me your story. What is the best machine to dry the bike and who has the best deal. I used my leaf blower yesterday, and it did not do the trick....

Okay... thanks for all the input... The Master Blaster seemed to win the day. Ride Safely guys! 100 on the I sounds like it would do more than dry the bike. One citation might pay for a year of detailing.
