Go with the 08...
two year warranty,
six gallon tank,
smoothest harley I've ever ridden,
ABS, if you want. ( I went with out)

I really do like my 08 RG w/ABS but I wouldn't have held out for an ABS bike. The dealer had the color I wanted and it had ABS so I bought it. I am not sure of all of the differences between the 07 and 08 but it sounds like you will save quite a few bucks on the 07. For me, I like to buy new so I know every mile that was put on it. I also prefer the black engines on the 08 versus the 07's silver but that's just me.

I just traded in a 07 FLTR for a 08 FLTR, the reason I did was I was getting ready to do some engine upgrades and was priceing them when I found the 08 already with the upgraded engine.
The 08 is a somewhat more comfortable ride do to the IDS and the tranny is allot quieter. Of course the 6 gal gas tank is a plus and the TBW is a nice touch.
I don't have ABS but the new Brembos give you a better brake system.
Warranty is another reason I made the trade, if I would have did the upgrade on the 07 it would not have been covered, but the 08 is.
Either way you go the Roadglide is a great platform and you will enjoy it.

Love my O8 Road Glide, black motor, brembo's, ABS, not completely sold on TBW yet but it hasn't been a problem and 6 gallon tank. I done some cosmetic enhancements but nothing to the motor. Still waiting on aSE Road Glide to be introduced and if/when that happens, I'll wait until the last year it will be made and ****** one up - 2010 or 2011.

Also, can't go wrong with any of the touring bikes though - I love the Road Kings and all Bat Wing bikes as well, in particualar the Ultra - it's my wifes favorite.

I have the 08 R Glide w/ ABS, and would have taken the same bike w/o, if I could have.
That said their new Brembo ABS system is trick (light and state of the art) when compared to older HD ABS (police bikes like my 06 R King / ABS).
I think there are other things to consider though: warranty; HD system upgrades over the 07; getting your bike your way, instead of the jefe's way; etc.
All in all, it is a great decision to have to make. I love it when I get to make choices like these!
