Default Zumo..Bluetooth Headphones..Stinks..

The other day I was on a plane to Tampa and saw a guy wearing Bluetooth Headphones that looked very comfortable and would probably fit under my helmet while riding..I thought I had found the Holly Grail..So I was able to get some info and located the Motorola S9 headphones. For me they were a great fit, compact, and got me away from the cord. The Bluetooth hooked right up to the Zumo no problem.I knew going in to all of this that they would not be stereo but that could be fixed with a (Dongle) Yes there is such a thing...The sound quality was not even close to the wired earbuds, and at times could not even tell which song was playing..I was hoping the s9 headset would be the answer... But it failed miserably so we will be going back to the wired ear buds from Sennheiser that have an excellent sound.

As I am always looking for a better way to use my Zumo, and ride my bike,Please let me know when you find the right solution..

I'm running a Cardo Rider Q2 with the Bluetooth and no problems as of yet. Volume is good, can hear everything clearly and the voice commands are good for the cell phone.
On the initial setup I had volume problems but had to raise the internal control on the setup screen.
If I start to have problems I'll post them.

I have the stock HD radio and Zumo 550.

I am using the helmet headset for bluetooth calls. There is a special (low cost) interface that allows you to plug into the 2.5mm jack on the Zumo bike mount (located above the Zumo audio out 3.5mm jack) and allows you to use your helmet headset for both CB and bluetooth.

Simple, clean, inexpensive and crystal clear calls at 70mph!
