Default lower bike

ok

I have already put on a 1" lowering kit and I still can not hardly reach the ground. I tried a different seat as well and no luck. Someone talked about a shackle lowering kit from progressive. Any ideas???? I need about 1 more inch or so

Theres a lowering kit from harley and others that will lower the 13 inch rear shocks 1 inch. You can put 12 inch air shocks from a street glide on. You can lower the front 1 more inch with the progessive fork spring kit

I sent my stock seat to Mean City Cycles and had them lower it 2 inches - feels better than ever and that extra 2 inches makes a huge difference.

when you say you put a 1" lowering kit do you mean the front or rear? lowering the front won't help much cause you are sitting over the rear tire. there are many good lowering brackets for the rear,(get a steel set not alum.) and you can get shorter shocks. I got a reach seat and it gave more than an inch , I have a 28" inseam and I can flat foot now.

Lowering the front will make a big difference. My wife is 5'2" and rides a RK Custom. Also had a custom seat done, lower and narrower.
