I installed S&S Stainless Performance Ovals on my RK Custom last night. I didn't get to try them out until today. Man, do they sound nice!! Exactly the sound I was looking for. Not too loud, but definitely a "masculine" low grumbling sound-reminds me of an old Chevy big block engine. I can feel a difference in performance too. I have a new SE air breather in my garage and I am waiting on a PCIII that I ordered. Pretty soon I'll have the bike runnin' like a top!

This afternoon I installed the license plate relocation kit. It was easy to do. Took me a few hours and the only reason it took that long was because I screwed up a little and had to make an emergency trip to Pep Boys. The only thing I don't like about the relocation kit is that it doesn't accept my current chrome license plate frame, so I have to get a different one.

Found that same thing when I moved my plates.. now I actually like the look better w/o from frame.

 

Getting rid of that ugly *** factory plate was the first thing I did. I dont even have the bar there anymore. It screws up the lines of the bike in my opinion.

 

Man those RK Customs looks sweet..... I may be biased, but a fact's a fact
