Default Rifle Boot or similar to fit an Ultra Classic?

Any one carry their rifle or rifles to the range on their cruiser?
Due to pick up my new Ultra Classic in 3 months and would love to be able to take my rifles to the range on it without carrying them on my back. (About a 50 mile ride)
Are there any "gun boots" that wouldsuit our Ultra Classic?
Or has any one any suggestions?

Solution, go to any atv shop and get a generic gun boot. Take it home and strap it to a tree in the back yard. Draw a target on it, Problem solved!

Too long to get a good fit on an Ultra. Trailer is an option and you could carry extras.

Put a sling on it and throw it over your shoulder. Let us know how it works out.

amazing isn't it you ask simple question and because some dont see the need you get bunch of bs.
I ve tried the atv piece on rkc for turkey shoot nights It works but looks stupid(to me and its my bike thats all that counts),I fastened mine to the luggage rack,no touring pack though.I thought about fabricating a bracket to make it quick detachable to front end(no fairing either).
Damn man with ultra it would be pain.let me know what you come up with.I also enjoy shooting sports and harleys so why not cobine the two?

There you go, another great idea! I got a 4 section fly rod in a tube carrier last year for a ride to the mountains for some fly fishing, didn't really have a good way to secure to UC, but made do. Maybe we'll see some good ideas from this thread!

Get the luggage rack that mounts atop your tourpack. I carred an SKS in a softcase to Utah no problem this way. I just bungeed it on horizontally...

Install a trailer hitch, and then fabricate a holder to carry your rifle case vertical on theback (as we do with flag poles). There is a company that makes a golf bag carrier using that idea.

(Make sure you don't block your signals/brakelights--something the "golf bag" guy didn't think through....)
