What is the difference between SE Street Performance Touring Muffler 2 piece #64985-07 and SE Street Performance Slip On 1 piece #80677-08. I read lots of post after searching, but still don't know the difference.

I'm guessing here, but one piece should mean "no end caps available for the muffler"

two piece means "end caps needed"

only thing I could think of.....

Casper is right.......if like your pipes louder than stock and want the 2 piece slip-ons get the 64985-07A. The -07 have been repalced with the 07A because they were too quiet.

I agree with dirtbobber...I've tried Rush (1.75 and 1.5 baffles still too loud) These 07A are just right for me.

The 64895-07A's are as lound as you can get and still hear your tunes good. I did a stage 1 with all V&H exhaust. The V&H classic's were too loud so I changed them out for the 64895-07A's. Gained some tq where I needed it with good over all performance. My mpg went up. The sound is good and when you twist the throttle it is as loud as I want with great tone.
