Trade tall sissy bar(mine) for short sissy bar..
#3
$1000 is a lot for a sissy bar but it is clearly nicer than the typical ones you see for less money. If you ever want a sissy bar bag for traveling, your sissy bar is tall enough for one of those made by Biltwell Inc. I've been looking at one for my '18 Breakout but hadn't seen any nice tall sissy bars to support it. I think this thread just cost me some money. As far as wives are concerned, when I buy something nice, like my Breakout, I try to have her focus on the original cost minus what I will sell it for one day. The net figure is what I'm 'really' spending. I don't know if she buys it but I keep trying to sell it. In your case, you could sell this sissy bar one day for at least 60% of what you paid for it so it really only cost you about $400 to use it as long as you want.
