The stock seat on my new Ultra is extremely uncomfortable, I could ride my 2004 Road King 650 miles in a day comfortably. A couple of hours on the new ride and I can't wait to get off of it! I am 6' 2" 225lbs. The seat feels like it it is pushing me foward on to the tank. Has anyone else who may have experienced this problem tried the Tallboy seat? Has this been the answer to the problem?

I have an 08 Ultra Anniversary and it came with a stock seat and not the anniversary one. I ordered the anniversary seat and installed it, rode 60 miles and my butt was hurting. Took it back to dealer and put the stock seat back on and have been happy ever since. The anniversary seat was harder and pushed me forward???

 

I feel the same way. When I get my new bike I am ordering the tallboy seat. It gives you 2 more inches of room. And it doesnt raise you up.

 

I found the seatback's angle caused me the same feeling...like I is was rolling forward and onto the tank.

While I did not go with the Tallboy, I did replace the stock with the Mustang and backrest. So far, so good.

 

In 2008 HD upgraded thier stock touring saddles. They are now comfortable for the length of a test ride.

It's all in the size of the body I guess. I'm 5'-9" and love the new seat. Stock and the Sundowneron my 03 RKC were very uncomfortable for me. I can ride forever on the new Ultra seat.
