I just installed fuelmoto stage one. k/n ac, rush mufflers and pcIII. I reset the throttle sealed new mufflers with antisieze.
Im getting alot of decel poping. Any quick fix till I get to a tuner?

 

Forgot to mention I have an 07 streetglide

 

I would call jamie first thing in the am, I had a problem with decel popping on my 05 rk, i didnt have the fuel moto set up but usually decel popping is that your to lean, jamie should be able to walk you through how to fatten it up and where at on the map. Or your other option is to down load a cann map from power commanders web site. that should fix it too.

 

If you have a lap top you can connect to it and put a value of about 10 in the "0" column from about 1750 rpm down to 5000 rpm. That should help stop the popping.

I had the same popping. Someone here recommended zeroing the throttle. It is a setting in the software, so you need to hook up a laptop.

This solved the problem for me.

Check your exhause clamps. I didn't get the clamp on correctly or tight enough and it popped. After I corrected it most of the popping stopped. I still get a pop here or there but nothing like when the exhaust was not tightened correctly. I've heard it sugglested to change the torca clamps when replacing slip-ons but I haven't gone down that road.

 

thanx sg06 I just did the change you recommended, it did help alot now its just popping when im close to stopping.

thanx too blmoore. I did the zero throttle first and go figure thats when the popping on decel got bad.

 

I'm not sure why you used antisieze because it does not seal anything. Antizieze is used on treaded parts such as spark plugs where high heat or mosisture are involved. Itkeeps metals from fuseing together.
Most muffler manufacturers recommend using PermatexUltra Copper a silicone product.They recommend placeing a bead of it around the inside the muffler where it slips on the header pipe. You can also put a bead of it around the header pipe and then slip themuffler on. You also need to make sure your clamps are at the very end of the muffler where the slits are. If you have the clamp to far to the rear it won't seal.

 

cbglide.. not sure why either I just read it on here and gave it a try. all clamps are were you said and tight.
