Has anyone had success improving the brightness of their RD headlights by replacing the bulbs or any other method? If so please help with the parts and vendor. Thanks in advance.

I have the PIAA H-4s on mine and they work great,but Kuryakyn just came out with driving lights for the Road Glide. I haven't seen a pic with them installed on a bike, but it's food for thought.

Very easy install on cage just insert bulbs and plug in balasts about 15min job, not sure how hard it is to get at headlights on RG.

Get Sylvania's SILVER STAR bulbs. A little pricey but WELL worth it. The brightest legal lights you by.

 

changed mine back to HDs brightest bulbs, the after market ones I had in last (forget the name brand) they melted my wires and the houseing that holds the bulbs.local dealer said he has seen this and done it to his a few times.

If you want some good light for daytime visibiility try motolights.
