would lowering the air p.s.i. in the air shocks lower the seat height??
how pricey are those 11.5 progressive shocks? do they come in 11 in.?

There are kits change the mounting point of the shocks & drop the back 2-inces...but I think there are posts noting issues of the tire rubbing the fender. Can't recall if that was only when passengers were on th back - or if it was all the time.

I think if you're 5'8" a 1" drop-shock should help you a LOT. Also, look at different seat options. A thinner seat - or one that is cut more narrow adds legroom.

I currently run the low profile HD shocks on the rear with 18" and lowered the front 1 1/4, running 21" and the ride is fine, and I sit flat footted at 5.10
I am looking to go lower but not until I can afford air

There are a few options
1. Progressive which is mentioned in this thread

2. A lowering kit, there are a few members on here that purchased them from bikerdelite on e-bay I think they are under $70.00, look them up ask them questions they will advise if they will fit they can adjust from 1 - 3" $70.00 not bad price

3. I came across these guys www.bitchinbaggers.com check out the site, they are out of the Phoenix AZ area.

I did a lot of research on trying to lower my RK Custom before finding one of the very few lowering kits that work without changing the shock angle. The kit is from TJ Products. The installation is very easy, and the quality is very good.
