I think I'm going to get the 8" Clearview w/recurve for my Streetglide. I'll be looking over the shield and I'm leaning toward the dark grey. However, there are times when I need to be able to see through the windshield, like steep inclines and sharp, slowturns.

How well can you see thru the Dark Grey? I know this may sound stupid, but its hard to tell by looking at pictures on a website.

 

I have the 9.5" dark grey and rarely find myself looking through it. When I do, it is not a problem at all during daylight conditions. At night, it is a little darker, but not really a problem. This is the best picture I have to show you.

Dark Grey 9.5" is prefect match for 08 FLHX 105 model ,and its not that dark.

 

The 8" I have now works pretty good, but it doesn't have recurve. I wouldn't be able to see over anything taller.
