I am finally a Harley owner! I got bitten by the bug in 2000 and have wanted to buy since then. During my waiting period I thought about buying use verses buying new. I could have gotten one alot sooner had I bought used, but would not have been satisfied with that decision. Since then I have spent hours at Harley dealerships and online reading and looking at some wonderful pictures. I will say that I thought about buying other brands but that fever never lasted, I would always end up with the desire to own a Harley. When I finally decided to go Harley I started with wanting the Road King and from there I bounced around until finally..............I took delivery of the bike for me, EGC. 100 miles have really made me think, was all this waiting worth it.[sm=Awwww.gif] I am experiencing a strange kind of connection between the bike. I can't tell you when it happened I was just riding and the rumble of the engine and the vibration kinda sent chills throughout me and at that point I relized, I am a biker. BTW- I am stock right now and I wanted to know what my virgin ride would be like and it has matured since then and sounds a little beefier. but I will change out pipes and let her breath freely.
I am so thankful for this forum. No other forum comes close. If Jesus Christ was to ride a Harley he would choose his disciples from this forum!

Welcome to the forum. I love what you said about a connection to your bike.

I feel the same way. It puts a smile on my face almost every time I ride it.

BTW, I'd love to see some larger pictures of your bike. My 53 year old eyes have a hard time with thumbnail sized pics. LOL
