Anyone running the Mustang solo with backrest on an 07-08 RK or RKC. After reviewing the many, many threads on this subject I was hoping to get some feedback from specific users. I have read that the seat moves you forward and up or back and down. This is probably due the variations in the stock seats that are being replaced. Not sure if the seats on the RK, and RKC are the same or if they varied from year to year, but if your running a Mustang solo with backrest on either ride what are your thoughtsin regards to comfort and position.

What do you think in regards to position. Did the seat seem to move you more forward or backward and up or down? Looking at the same pillion for the wife. She has her own bike but still enjoys riding with me also. Have you looked into any of the sissy bars for the passenger pillion?

Can't tell yet, won't stop raining long enought to ride it [:@]Any RK sissy bar will fit. I have the RK detachable, off and on in seconds. My advice is go with the biggest pillion and make the wife as happy as possible. With the two piece Mustang the pillion is off and on in seconds as well. Get the long bib to cover thescuffs on the fender paint from the pass seat.

Have a Mustang solo with backrest on my 08 RG. Quality and craftsmanship of the seat is excellent. Don't believe it moves me forward or back wards in relation to the stock seat. Would not hesitant in buying one. If you buy directly from Mustang, you can return it.
