. . . . .what a great idea! It honestly didn't occur to me but i'm on my way tomorrow!

OBTW They (HD) also prints a torque book P/N for the 06 edition is 99959-06. Long story short when I bought the Fix My Hog DVD I also bought the "My Service Sheets" too. (I like good records) I sent them a suggestion and in the course of our conversation Chris (Hajer) was kind enough to send me one of these great little books. I use it almost as much as the service manual! BTW Chris is a great guy to do business with!

The H-D service manual is the best written, easiest to read manual I have ever owned. With it, you can wrench with confidence. Most of us hesitate at the cost but it will, without a doubt, save you al least one trip to the dealer and when it does, you've gotten your money back and more.
+1

Just finished my 1000 mile tonight, manual walked me right through it no problems at all, it already saved me $250+

Thanks for the responce guys I guess the manual will be a must have before I start my engine build. I have built many car engines but for some reason am a little intimidated by tearing into my bike but as long as I have a good manual I feel comfident to do my own build.
I recommend getting the Electrical Diagnostic Manual 'and' the Parts Catalog as well. This way no matter what you need to do, you'll be set.You can get them at a 20 % discount off Harley Davidson MSRP at: www.surdyke.com. Cheers! [sm=smiley20.gif]
