RE: T-Rex 3" Dual Straights
I called them and they emailed a three page instruction sheet. I glanced at it while I installed the 3" Straight True Duals a few minutes ago on my 05 Ultra. Took about 3 or four hours. Most of the time was spent removing the stock pipes and trying to keep my garage warm. I followed advice from Bountyhunter and tossed the brackets. No problem with fit. I did adjust the right floorboard but otherwise I had no clearance issues other that getting a socket on the nuts.
They really rock!
PM me with an email and I can forward the Installation pdf for 3" True Duals on 2002-03 FLT/FLHT/FLHR/FLTR. But again I just used it as a reference since it's hard not to get it right and I'm not a wrencher

RE: T-Rex 3" Dual Straights
btw: You could use that hose clamp if you leave the Transmission backet in place.
I agree they should have enclosed instructions. The ones they sent me were not very complete. They do have some pdf's on their website. But not for the 3".

You'd think they'd trade out a hose clamp for some instructions.....................[:@]

I would like to hear how your install went with having someone else do it? You can also add what your thoguhts are on the sound from these bad boy pipes too.

Dropped my bike and pipes off at American dream cycle in ATL. Damn I hope there arent any problems with the T-rexs fitting. Bike week is to close.

RE: T-Rex 3" Dual Straights
Took me longer to take those OEM pipes off then to put the T-Rex 3" True Duals on. I had to use a 1/4" socket on 2 of the manifold nuts but the rest was a dream. The only clearance issue was with the right floorboard and I used the spacers provided.
Can't speak for others but my 05 Ultra had not issues and the T-Rex look awesome!
btw: Seems like the Factory is not enclosing instructions. I called and they emailed them to me within an hour.

I would really like to hear more on these pipes. When I first saw these pipes I just fell in love with them and came very close to ordering a set, but then got to thinking about the size of the pipe and was worried about the fitment around the engine, floorboards and primary. Please let us know how it turns out...
