LED Spoiler kits & 12V pwr point.........
Hey folks;
Question for the electrically inclined here.
I picked up the tour pak and saddlebag spoiler/LED light kits as well as the aux 12V power point.
Reading the instructions, both sets of lights and the extra 12V power point use the same pre-wired plug under the seat. I'll need to get a y-adapter to plug into the accessory plug under the seat to run the extra lights, but that doesn't leave a plug for the 12V power source.
I could buy 2 adapters, and plug one into the other and that would still leave me with 3 open plugs, which would be enough.
Would plugging one y-connector into another one cause any issues with the electrical system?
Or is there an easier way to do this?

I don't think having the adapters configured in the way you want will cause an issue.
I would be cautious about what you plug into them tho - is not the number of power-points you have, it's how much current the (plugged-in) devices are running.

RE: LED Spoiler kits & 12V pwr point.........
I have the TP spoiler/LED and the saddlebag spoilers/LEDS. I simply spliced the TP spoiler wiring into the TP wiring and use the TP harness for the spoiler. If you have lights already in the TP, you should be able to do the same.
As for the saddlebag LED's, I wired them to the HD run/brake/turn signal module that is under the seat, so the saddlebag LED's function as turn signals in addition to run/brake lights.
I'd suggest you use the TP wiring and splice the TP LED into it; buy the Y-connector to duplicate the accessory connector to use for the saddlebag LED's and Ipod.
Good luck with your project.
