Back in August I joined this forum and told of renting a Harley Electra Glide Classic to try it out. It was very favorable compaired to my 2001 GoldWing. I found it had better wind protection and more room to move my legs (I am 6'7"). I sold my 2001 Wing today and made the mistake of going to the Harley Shop. I left with a 2008 Ultra Classic in the Black of course. I only got to ride about 160 miles today and all I can say is why did I wait so long. The Wing was a great bike and never gave me a moments trouble in 61,000 miles and 7 years. I hope my time with the Ultra Classic is as good.

Im a recovering Goldwinger too. Im two yrs Honda free. I went from an 01 Wing to an 01 Ultra a few yrs ago. Last week I said good bye to the 01 Ultra and there is an 08 Ultra (blk of course) in my garage. The Wing is an outstanding bike but man, I love the new 08.
