How are you being arguemtitive? We are on the same page. I am saying the same thing. Thats why I went back to the old mount. To much shake at Idle. My helmet was vibrating! lol!
I think the mention of the floorboards threw you off what I was attempting to describe. Didn't mean to mislead you.

On my RG after 13000 miles I used a Velva Ride MM. It is the real deal. I also used the Velva for the two stabilizers also, great products.

Sorry for the confusion here guys, I was doing too many things at the same time and screwed that one up royally. I think I got it straight this time and not bass ackwards

How can you tell if the mount is bad? Is it just by looking or is something else going on?
