Does anyone have instructions on mounting the docking hardware on a 07 SG.

had the dealer do mine also luggage rack just was easier for me its a great setup though

Does anyone have instructions on mounting the docking hardware on a 07 SG.
Use the straps that come with the bar.Remove the bags.The front (thinner spool) goes into a 3/8-16 threaded hole just above and behind the top of the shock. It's a close fit, the spool almost touches the of the shock.Insert the bolt through the spoolinto that strap. Don't tighten it up yet. On the rear bracket that holds the rear saddlebag mount are 4 holes on the right 3 unused on the left. The 4th on the left has the air fitting for the shock. Use the upper front hole for the 3/8 bolt and washer and nut. The strap will guide you if you swing it back. Keep the strap for each side behind the spools and all should line up for the sissybar to snap on.
