Default NEED HELP with picking a Helmet

I was hoping to get some advice on what kind of 1/2 helmet to buy. The one I have now makes me look like a mushroom head. I'd like to get something more form fitting and am hoping not to spend a ton of dough. I figured I could get some good pointers here. Websites would be great as well. Thanks so much in advance and ride safe.

I was looking online and at the harley dealer. I have a renegeades in York PA. I went in there and tried on a fulmer. It is DOT approved, and I paid 75.00. I have been happy with it. It is not as light as carbon fiber but the fit is good.

I searched everywhere for the best half helmet... I wanted it to be light, safe as possible (DOT rated), and not look like a massive mushroom on my head. There is no competition for these... http://www.carbonfiberhelmets.com/
They cost a bit more, but you get what you pay for... they are just a bit larger than a novelty helmet (which is A LOT smaller than most DOT half helmets), insanely light weight, and the service is excellent! If you do a search here on the forums for these helmets, you will see a ton of rave reviews. I have the jockey style DOT helmet and I can't say enough about it. They send 3 different thicknesses of foam with the helmet, so you can really tailor the fit to your head.

^ what he said.

I LOVE my ACC helmet from carbonfiberhelmets.com. Straps are very adjustable. Easy to fit the foam to your melon. The clasp is easy to use. Bought the 1/2 for myself and polo for my passenger. Next best thing to not wearing a helmet at all. Don't even know it's there. No wind buffeting. Weighs almost nothing. Very slim. Love it!!

Wish condoms would come packaged this way!

1+ Vega XTS, good value, good fit, light weight.
THHT-69, good value, good fit(mine seems to fit a rounder head better), light weight.
