You could drill the holes...

OR...

Buy this Klock WFB front fender thats for 21" tires and the needed mounting spacers from me for $250...and I'll ship it at my expense!

What a great guy I am!

I joined a day too late. did the same mod on my electra classic (dealer jokingly refers to as an flhxc) and had some rubbing. saw the 'elongation' trick and it worked like a charm. love your bike. have a fun ride!

Flamineclipse,
I had the same problem when I put my 21 inch front wheel on I never could get enough clearance and ended up using the Fat Boy fender adapter to give me enough height. I am using an aftermarket front fender though.

Well guys, it's done . I finished up around 9:00 last night. It looks fantastic, I brought home a die grinder and took out about 1/4" of the mounting hole and it worked perfect. I still haven't got to ride it or get pics because of course it started raining buckets about the time I finished it and hasn't stoped yet. Thanks again for all the help and encouragement, that's what make this place so great. I'll get pics up as soon as the weather breaks.

Here are the pics as promised. I rode the bike yesterday and was blown away with how well the bike rides. Granted I only rode about 50 miles and by myself, but it was smoother, less noisey, and all around better than stock. If your thinking about this mod DO IT it's awsome! I added the 21/18 wheels, Metzler tires, Hawg Halters 6 piston caliper, 9/16" master cylinder off of a softtail for the single sided brake, and braided lines. All bought from HogPro, those guys are awsome to deal with.

I love em!! Now for the chrome front end and I'll be done for now.

Thanks LP, it is a 150 rear and really fills up the fender well. To me it looks like 160 might rub if the bike was loaded with 2 people and gear for a weekend trip.
