Default Dragonfly Concepts Customer Service

I've written these guys three emails and have yet to receive a response. I was sooooo close to plopping down the $2600 they want for a fairing, but now I'm afraid I'm gonna pass on them. **** poor customer service, IMHO.

Ciao.

Use the telephone. Many vendors are small operations who find it easier to answer a phone than email. Also, if your emails concern questions aswered on their website, they are slow to reply, especially if they are busy getting orders shipped to customers.

Selling retail, direct to the consumer, is a big PITA for most of these small vendors because of the variety and volume of phone calls and emails they receive dailywhile they are trying to get finished product out the door.

Perservere, use the phone, or buy frome someone else.

I just bought and installed a fairing for my Road King Classic from Wide Open Custom (www.wideopencustom.com) and could not be happier with their service. I ordered it a motorcycle show in the Chicago area and the cost was $799 and that included the radio, (4) speakers and all wiring and brackets. That said it would be delievered in 2 weeks; it was there on time. I had a friend paint it to match the 2005 Black Cherry Pearl color. I have less that $1200 in the project and could not be happier.
They have great photos on the web site to help with assembly and installation. If you want photos send me an email.

Dragonfly is a small operation. They have one gal that answers emails and does billing and such, if she's not there, it don't happen.

Give them a call in themorning hours, they usually get the phone. I think that they are great to work with.

I agree with DanB, your comment was funny. You should check out the guy's story on TheSmokingGun.com: he was caught breaking into someone else's house. When he was caught he was wearing a dress of the owner's elderly mother.

Thanks for the input. Touron2, thanks for the recommendation. I hadn't heard of the Wide Open brand. I'm checking it out now.
