If I take the A/C off to paint it do I need a new gasket for the throttle body?

Painted mine also and looks fine. No need to replace the gasket again. It will be fine. HD doesn't offer any other backing plates for the 08's yet.

I used the chrome one from Arlen Ness. I know some have had problems with them breaking, but no problem with mine so far.
