This is my first post, so go easy on me guys, but I’ve been lurking on the forum for about a year.

On searching “Texas Red Neck” did a beautiful job of wring diagrams and photos on his FLHTC to turn on and off the driving lights on high beam, but I have a 08 Road King. I hope the color codes are the same. On the left of the nacelle (facing the bike) the connector has three wires, white/black, black, and the yellow; the other side of the connector are two black wires. On the right side of the nacelle the connector has an orange and the orange with the red strip. The other side has two black. Now, I was going to cut the yellow wire on the left connector and jump it to the orange with red strip, but I had no guts unless somebody tells me it’s OK.

Also, which side of the yellow do I bring over to splice? The side from the connector or the side going to the connector? Any help would be appreciated.

Wish ah could help ya dude, but without the wiring schematics ah'd hate ta mislead ya.
