did my own, $73.89 (ten bucks of that was for the oil filter wrench I had to buy also.)
used all HD dino oils.
NOTE: if you do your own, be sure to save every reciept because if you need warranty work done later, they will ask for the reciepts.
Other than that, it's smooth sailing.

I do ALL my own service and most of my own repairs. The stealerships SAY they perform all these wonderful tests and some claim they test the oil for contaminants to identify problems. Truth be known, the majority of the time they check the air in the tires while the oils drain, try to sell you a new air filter, refill the cases and send you on your way.
No matter where you buy your oils, save the receipts and staple them into the back of your book so they'll never get lost. If you get a heat printed receipt, Make a copy and save that because they'll fade and so will your proof. Make notes about what the tire pressures were and condition of the plugs etc. Keep receipts for the cable lubes too.
They can't deny you warranty repairs for doing your own maintenance, I don't care what they say.
