Default Blackcat with quiet baffle

Just changed my order to AMS for a quiet baffle on my black Fatcat from the standard one, so I'll be picking it up at their store Tuesday vs. tomorrow. I sure hope I'm happy with the quiet baffle. It seems a lot of folks find it to be more pleasing than the standard baffle. Would those who have it say it is a deep rich sound?

I would say so, it's a tighter more controlled sound, not tinny or raspy at all.

Quiet baffle is supposed to make slightly better performance also...............another benefit.

Yes, and I love it.

Even with my new build, it's still a great sound that is not too loud unless you want it to be.

Exactly what I told him. I love mine. Just crusing around it is wonderful, you roll-on and it lets you know. There is one draw back. You here more motor sounds, you know; WHATS THAT!!!Just turn up the radio and ride.

I really like the quiet baffle...I recently had D&D make a custom length pipe to work with my new extended saddlebags and I used a borrowed standard baffle FatCat muffler for a couple of weeks....I couldn't wait to get the quiet muffler back

GliderXXX....you'll be in my neighborhood when you go to AMS next week.....where are you coming from?

Could be Nick...errrr...Rick I mean Sorry about the PM name mangle The VH Basic muffs on my stock headpipes are pretty mild now, and I've got a 103" with lower fairings on my SG, so I get the normal noises...nothing I'm not used to. I actually don't even hear them. Now when I had my Woods Cams in there on a couple of other bikes...that was a different story
