Need Help Please (ZUMO 550)
Ok so here is my dumb luck..... I was wiring the zumo to the back of the cig lighter.... i was checking voltage touch the leads to both and pop... so i check the fuse, fuse is good..... the acc light on the fairing wont light up and i got no power to the lighter...... it started raining so i buttoned it all back up....
is there a inline fuse in the lighter...... the acc fuse in the fuse block is good..... no power to the zumo mount either. but what confuses me is that the green acc light on the dash wont light up now?
HELP please[sm=headbang.gif]

There's a better way to wire it if I remember correctly there is a lead coming off the headlight that you can use. Just go to the Zumo Forum (do a google search for it) once there join up if you're not a member, then do a search for installation on a harley. Some guy wrote up a very detailed description of how to do the installation w/plenty of useful tips on location, quick disconnects, etc. Here's the link location: http://www.zumoforums.com/index.php?...sg1327#msg1327
