RE: What's the Best Things You've Learned on This Forum?
When I did my engine work I learned a great deal from the folks in the Engine section. The one thing you have to remember about forums is to be careful with the information you receive. Back the information up with your own research and you should be good. You will always get lots of opinions, I've cetainly shared a few of mine in the past.

1. George Anderson tourpak relocation kit!!
2. Service manual is worth its weight in chrome!!
3. Yes I can do things myself and not pay the dealership for everything!!
4. Don't take all the problems written about here too seriously, but keep them in the back of my mind...just in case!!
5. Lots of people here have way more money to spend on their scoots than I do, but that's ok, I can pick and choose where I want to spend my "fun" money!!

RE: What's the Best Things You've Learned on This Forum?
Well, I'm really new to the HD Forum and damn glad I found it. Used to spend a lot of time at HArley Tech Talk because there are a lot of great "shovel" guys there and I've been on shovels for 34 years now. This year I decided with the two shovels in the garage, it was time to upgrade and try out some of this new technology. While I don't post a lot, I soak up a lot of info and this transition is not as scary for me anymore. The info on here is invaluable, especially with all the new technology out there. I do most of my own wrenching, so I was scared shitless when I bought the new Road King. Because of this site, I'm getting more confident by the day and understanding how some of this new stuff works. Ok, that was long, but let me end with two things:
1) Keep up the posts and the sharing of information, we will all be better for it.
2) THE NEW BIKES ROCK! Coming off a good, strong shovel to the 96" was, well, just f&%$in' amazing! Not long now, 1000 mile service, then on go the exhaust, hi-flow air and fuel management.

Learned to keep my credit cards locked in another room when on the forum. All the uses of JB weld!!!!
Of all the forums out there this one has the best info and members. Helping each other out across the country really is the only place I check into every day.
Of course I have spent tons of money because of the forum. All of which has made my bike better, that is what I tell my wife anyway.
The best thing I have gotten from this forum is knowledge.
