Any part of any bike of any make of any exhaust will discolor unless its covered by a heat shield or header wrap.
Basic motorcycle stuff guys......This can't be your first rodeo

As heat from the engine goes thru these pipes it would be very unnatural for them not to discolor.
Back before heat shields we used to tune our bike by the color of the pipe. I always like a dull gold color turning blue as it went down the pipe. Kinda miss them ol days.
