Default Replacing rocker box covers....

Hey All, I finally broke down and purchased the nice Mo Co. billit covers to replace my polished ones on my 02' FLHT. Is this a simple changeout? I know I'll need the gasket kit from HD. Do I just follow the service manual or are there some tricks you guys can pass along? I guess the tank comes completely off? I plan on replacing the the fuel crossover hose with HD's braided one and adding thier nicer tank hardware in the process. Thanks in advance! Eric

The service manual is a necessity IMO. It gives you the torque specs and pictures as well as spelling out the procedure. H-D makes a gasket set which covers the job. You will need to remove the rocker arms to change the bottom halves of the covers.
