Default Horn upgrade and tool kit

Mornin' guys.
Last year while approaching the Golden Gate Bridge I had a very near miss when a car entered the freeway and decided to occupy the lane space I was in (3 lanes to his left). Blowing my horn served no purpose and I entered up riding the "white line" while being passed by vehicles on my left.
I've been thinking, since then, that I should update that device. Am looking at the HD part # 69423-05 and 69400-05 as an upgrade. Total costs about $200. The problem is I haven't used my horn since and money is becomingharder to accumulate. Your thoughts/opinions?
Would anybody be able to supply me with the "Sears" tool kit number that seemed to be a forum favouriteabout a month ago? Isearched the forum but can't seem to locate it. It contained about 5 essential tools, torx and sockets in a small case.

Here is the Sears part number.

35 Pc. Microdriver Set
Item #: 00930035000

There are some inexpensive horns you can get at Advanced Auto, or Auto Zone, or any parts house that seem to be louder and more dependable than the Harley horn. Others can probably tell you better what the specific models are.

Ride Safe.

I have Rivco Air horns. These Air hornsgive a loud warning blast of 128 decibels! Uses the stock horn button. Can be easily installed in 20-30 minutes. I bought mine in Sturgis from PitBull $165 http://www.pitbullmotorcyclelifts.com/products.aspx

Go to your local NAPA and buy a pair (1 Low tone and 1 High tone)of Blaster horns 132DB ea and they only cost $15.99 each.
Put on it the stock location and mount the second under the side panel.
I did this and they work very well and you sound like a big old Buick from the sixties when you hit the horns.

You won't use your horn again ..until you need it. ... better to have a loud horn and not need it than to need it and not have it......Kinda like a condom.
We have the retro style Metalarts Horns... love them. .... I got a great deal from the guy...but he got a great lap dance from me.! www.metalartsinc.com Click picture to hear horns...There is link to two Metalartz sound bites in picture.

Sears was out of the toolkit when I was there, but as someone mentioned in the thread Lowe's has them. I found them in the isle next to the Kobalt Tools, same price as Sears.

After I got it I noticed that it rattled a bit so I cut a piece of a rag the same width and twice the length, put it inside and snapped it closed. It was just enough to kill most of the rattle.

Go to almost any auto parts store and the will have 1 of those small airhorns for about $50 or $60. Loud as hell and price that won't kill. Look like this.

I have Revco horns also and I took them off the stock bracket and mounted them on a L bracket under the left floorboard. I'll post pictures tomorrow. The trumpet end is in front of the engine guard. Dan
