I think he means this one.
When I had my indian chief, I bought one of these.
Be careful.
You have to have the rear, where the ramp is, supported.
Because it will not be good when you drive on, it tilts down.
When you keep driving it tilts up. Hitting your front fender[:'(]

I had this one. Cranked it up in front in order to load it. Drove on and wamb.
If it had supports bolted to the rear like these:

It would work real well.
Know what I mean

RE: Hauling Tourer in Truck Bed?
No Problem. I hauled my '06 Road King around all the time. Put a chock in the front (make sure that you leave room so the fender doesn't hit the truck bed) and put in some good tiedowns. You'll have to leave the tailgate down but I like doing this much better than the trailer and the truck handles just fine.

I haul my RKC or my 07 ultra in the bed of my F-350 long bed w/o any problems. A good folding aluminum ramp that is wide enough for "walking it on" is essential. A self standing wheel chock is also a must IMHO. I ratchet strap to the tie downs in the front of the truck bed to the fork tubes right above the axle. I then ratchet strap around the rear tire and wheel to both rear tie downs. The bike "floats" on its own suspension and I can see it in the rear view mirror. Sure beats buying and pulling a trailer.

I hauled a friend's 04 RK in my 4x8 trailer. Had to take the rear gate off, but it fit.
If you don't want to buy a trailer, try renting one.
Putting a bike in the back of a truck is a weird feeling... Did it once.... will NEVER do it again... basically I had to go change my shorts afterwards...

RE: Hauling Tourer in Truck Bed?
I hear what you are saying about riding it into the bed.We took a buddy'sF250 4X4 from NE Ohio to Norfolk in Januaryto get the RK. We had good & stout homemade ramps. I thought about riding it on, andone of those in attendancethought I should go for it. I nosed her on to the rampa few times trying to work up my courage, then finally thought better of it. Two us working a come-along and one pushing got her 3/4 of the way on, only to have the oil sump catch on the lip of the ramp. Luckily we found an old leaky floor jack that let usraisethe end of the ramp.
Thinking about the blood and broken pieces that might have been later gave me chills.
By the way and for the record: My opinion is motorcycleshave no business in the back of a truck or on a trailer unless they are broken. If it hadn't been January and snow & slush most of the way, I gotta say I'd have packed a few tools, then flown in and ridden it home. The January part was something we couldn't avoid.
