I agree..stay local. The guy with the saddlebags was right around the corner. I saw some deals on hardbags, but I don't want hardbags.

Bought my current bike off Craigs list. 3 hours away. I called and got it for less than his asking price. Exactly what I was looking for.

I'm going to have one for sale in about a week. So, say I sell it for my asking price around $6k. Can't see requiring cash for that amount, so if I can't trust bank checks, what's the best way to handle it? Or do all of you just insist on cash regardless of the amount?
BTW, Jer, bike runs great. Had a few issues with my PCIII, but all is fine now and running great.
