RE: Why a Street Glide over a Electra Glide Standard
do the EGC and you got yourself a deal at almost the same price as a SG -- trust me you are going to need the extra stuff that comes on a EGC

Why a Street Glide over a Electra Glide Standard or vice versa?
Only things I see different is a few cosmetic chrome pieces.
And the mirrors...ones built into the fairing and the other off the bars...
Just curious.

Now THAT looks good !!!!
No really . . . Bang for the Buck, the Classic. Just set it up like a Streetglide, then you have the trunk when you need it. Same price. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more bike for the buck than a Streetglide. Plus out of the box, they ride better.

I basically changed out the stock radio with an aftermarket one. The seat, I replaced with a solo and just found a guy who couldve chopped the stock seat on the e glide. And all that chrome on a SG vs the polish on the EG, I woulda just powdercoated it black. Go figure, I woulda saved tons. But just staring at the SG and how clean it looks without all the dilly daddy parts, made me say het, thats my new bike and bam.....SG. Everythings the same. motor wise..maybe the rear suspension is a lil higher, but i changed that to to an air ride. sik.

Ya I see some of those Good Looking Tattoo'd Toothless wonders on the StreetGlides because they were too cheap to buy the Electra Glide Ultra. Woman like the Bling and the Money, go buy the cheaper bike the girls all would rather ride in a Ford than a Cadillac
