Hawg Wired - Front to Back

Hawg Wired - Front to Back
Have an 07 Ultra. Looking for new speakers and AMP. I am considering the Hawg Wired Front to Back System.

Has anyone else installed, and if so, are you happy?
Also, the specs say the amp will support 4 inputs. Does that mean that there would be plugs in the AMP for an ipod and GPS? Tired of switch back and forth with a cable on the aux input of the head unit.

RE: Hawg Wired - Front to Back
I don't have a Ultra but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night......No just kidding.
I did install this unit in my SG and Love it. I know it's not the same model as what you need, but your model will sound much better to ya.

Hope it helps. JMHO it is worth the money.

RE: Hawg Wired - Front to Back
You have opened a can of worms with that question as every one has their own personal hearing test! LOL.
I think that we can all agree that the factory MOCO speakers are "worthless" and IMHO a real POS for the price we pay for our rides. Wih that said, I replaced mine with Hog Tunes from Pez (real great guy & forum member) and love them. Have had the bike out twice this year [central Ohio freakin' cold weather :-( ] but both time the better half told me to turn down the volume as it was too loud! Last year, prior to the Hog Tunes, it was always What's that static?
Good luck in your quest for a speaker update; you can not go wrong with Hog Tunes!

RE: Hawg Wired - Front to Back
Thanks all.
Really, I wasn't trying to open a can or worms regarding which brand. Just wanted to hear from someone that might have done the Front to Back and see if they were happy. I was also hoping that this solution might enable me to have my ipod and GPS plugged directly into the AMP all the time. That way I could forgo switching the cables back and forth into the AUX on the head unit.
I dropped a note to the guys at Hawg-Wired and they got right back to me. Unfortunately, doesn't look like the ipod / GPS will worked as I hoped. Their response:
" Now the PSC3004 amplifier does have 4 inputs, but they're
not intended for multiple devices. They're really Left/Right Front and
Left/Right Rear channels to match your radios outputs. From a device
standpoint, you still need to use your radio and it's input jack the way you
already are. Technically you can connect those devices directly to our
amplifier systems, but only one at a time."
