What is everyone using for Windshield bags on their baggers? Looking for other options then buying from HD. What do you have and where did you get it from?

I dont use one because I think they look terrible. I use a bag on my lower fairings. You can get them out of the Drag Specialities catalogue. Look good and out of the way and replaces that cheap rubber flap on the lower fairings.449.00 PAIR.

I have the Harley 3 pouch windshield bag and I'm thinking of taking it off. The reason is that it vibrates at certain RPM's and have noticed it's scratching the back side of my shield. I'll probably take it off when I get my new windshield from Clearview windshields.

I like the 3 pouch one, but the one I like looks like it slides down in behind the windshield to hold it up there.

I figure it gives me a place to put a pack of smokes, the garage door opener, and my IPOD for starters.

I like mine. I keep my papers, extra glasses and earplugs.

On the positive side they are great for storing misc. stuff you need to get your hands on when you are riding. The down side is I haven't seen one yet that didn't get dirt & debris behind it, which then rubbed a spot on the windshield....

Just my opinion here Renegade but I believe you are getting a SG and if so I think any windshield bag is going to detract from the clean looks of that dashboard.

They are handy though. I had one on my recently departed RKC but I can't see putting one on my SG-to-be.

Kind of like a trailer hitch on a Masseratti, sure it's functional but...........

Just my $.02 and I'm sure not even worth that.
