Changed my stock seat to a Sundowner as you see in my Sig. pic, love the seat, very comfortable but you know how most of us are, always searching for the Holy Grail so, I thought I'd give a Corbin Solo a shot, lasted about 1 week and sold it. Went back to he Sundowner. Then by chance I stumbled upon a Mustang Solo, gave it a try and like it even better than my Sundowner.

Got the Sundowner with Street Glide stitching. Looks great, both wife and I are comfy.

Check out C&C seats. They sit you back and down 1.25". That's a sporttour on my glide...

how well did the seat fit your bike , did it take any tweaking to fit?
also do you have the tourpack backrest and if so how does the seat work with it?

Stock Road Glide seat for me. More narrow at the nose for better flat-footing. And passenger area is more comfy according to my wife.

HD low profile seat, as comfortable as the stock seat but a little narrower in the front. And better looking. IMHO...

Sundowner is very comfortable, switched over after about 4000km, no regrets once get used to it. Much more comfortable, deep dish design provides much better back support and keeps me planted. I used to find myself sliding back often in the stock seat. Also pillion much more comfortable for passenger. Very pleased with the seat, usually some available on e-bay, cheaper than dealer price.
Your butt will love you back.

I have the Sundowner on both my bikes. Can't beat the price or comfort. Too bad the one on the 08 SG has no character. Talk about "plain". But the comfort for rider and passenger is undeniable.

I replied to your PM but just in case anyone else is wonderinf: The seat fit better than stock. The leather work and custom stiching is well done. I use a clip on backrest and rack when I travel with no problem. I visited the shop when I was working down in LA. CHuck used to work for Saddleman and Chuey used to work for Sundowner or vice versa. Quality custom seat for half the price of a Corbin.

I tried to add a couple of pictures of the seat but it's too much hassle!
