RE: RK Custom forks lowered/and review of modification
Mmarsalone-killer deal on your chrome front end, I am envious.
Thanks 2006Street Glide-I like yours too! The black forks match nicely.
RoadKingCustom-Nice paint job! Is that an official Harley paint scheme (I see the harley logo on the tank) or is that a custom job?
Whiskers, it's funny you should aske me that question. I just finished putting on S&S Stainless Performance Ovals on my bike tonight. Finished at 12:15 am pacific time. I have yet to start it to hear them because I did not want to wake the neighbors. I'm not sure how they sound. Most say not too loud-like a muscle car engine sound. I'll try it out first thing in the morning.
I have been looking at license plate kits also, but I was thinking about the relocation kit that moves it down under the tail light and possibly that stealth luggage rack that blends in with the rear fender. After that I am also buying the matching tour pak, because me and girlfriend are going on the Laughlin River Run this year. Those few doo-dads should hold me over for 2006 (hopefully!).
