Amber passing lamps

RE: Amber passing lamps
+1 Hungry Joe
I am running H3 Hella Yellow Star's in my spots. 55W is no problem. I am also running a "hotter" headlamp and Kury Panacea tail and turn LED's. I had to bump up the lamp circuit protection from 15 to 20AMP on my 97 FLSTC. The 15 AMP would heat up and cut off my lights occasionally. No problems since I went to 20AMP.
I think running yellow spots helps cagers to see you much better. Just different enough to stand out.

See post 4 in this link for a listing of bulbs/wattage/etc.:

The "PGJ13" designation is for the 90 degree connector used on the '05 and newer bikes. '04 and older use sealed beams with the bayonnet connectors, though HD does sell a conversion connector that came with the replacement bulb kit I purchased recently and installed on my '04 EG: the clear lens, reflector optics found in the catalog.
The "search" function works very well; as does bookmarking particularly useful threads from time to time.
