So you have to splice the wires in?I was looking for some with a direct plug in and have found none. The 06' kings have a non sealed type in which the halo bulb is pushed into the actual lamp housing.[:'(]
You can either get different H4 type bulbs or go with the Cee Bailey's Armor Shields. They look sharp and aren't too pricey either. I'm thinking on putting a set of yellow shields on mine.

Thanks Dawg, I like that idea better than oscillating lights to get attention.

Ride well,

Jim

Heres mine. I like the look. They were a gift and I did not need to splice any wires. Took me about 30 minutes to install. I can check on the part # if needed. Good luck

We've had several crashes in the last week in our area, and most we're I didn't see the biker. Yeah, I would like the part number. Are those light bulbs or covers and how well do you see with them at night? Thanks.By the way nice paint job.

Ride well,

Jim

So, on some bikes you'll need to cut off the connector and hard wire?

I am going on a ride this morning. I will pull a light when I return and give you the part number and how I wired them. It has been three years since I installed the lights, I really don't recall the specifics. Take care.

The newer bikes use H4 bulbs and not sealed beams so yes on the newer bikes you would need to wire them in

One of my light bulbs on the passing lamp just burned outand the stealer wants $25 for the replacement. I would like to find out more about this option.

The info in this forum is just great.

I don't know if my 06 Ultra has an H4 bulb or sealed beam.
When I started this thread, I thought I had a sealed beam. I still haven't looked

I did a google search on "amber h4 bulb" and up one came for $24.95.

So, which ever I have, It will get replaced with an amber this next week.

I don't like the idea of cutting off the factory connections to put in something else.
