RE: Slip On Oil Cooler...worth it?
Those things have been around forever. They used to be in the old original JC Whitney catalogs for cars too. I thought about adding one in the '60s and some magazine ("Hot Rod" I think) did a serious test with a small-block Chevy. Discovered thatit DID drop temperature but only a degree or two.
I never saw a review in a bike zine though but suspect the benefit would be a bit better for us. Does it drop oil temperature? Absolutely. As said - physics. How much? Probably not a lot but what the heck,it's been getting made for about a gillion years now so it's real cheap. Pretty much one of those "If you like the look, go for it and if you don't like how it looks, then don't use it".
It has to help thougheven if it's just a little bit soif I still lived in Arizona or SoCal, I'd use one.
