Default keep neck, face and ears warm with half helmet

I have a half helmet and a full face. I take both on long trips as the full face is really nice in down pours. I am looking for something to keep me warm when wearing the half helmet. What do you wear around your neck , lower face and ears with a half helmet.

I have the same issue up here in Alaska, I like wearing my half helmet and quite often you need some face protection. I have a large bandana shaped (triangular) leather piece with a fleece lining on the inside and velcro to fasten it that I bought at a local biker leather store. It wraps around your face about nose high and velcro fastens together in the back and it tucks down inside the front of your coat to keep your neck warm too. It's hard to get it high enough to keep your ears warm though. Overall I like it.

I ride with a pull over fleece head wear, when wearing a half helmet. this also cover my neck and ears. I bought these at my local HD dealer.

If ya wanna keep warm why not just wear a full face in the cold weather? It makes the ride way more comfortable.

I wear a non-dot beanie all year round. For winter riding, I have a short black cap that covers my ears and forehead and fits under the helmet well and a leather bandana for my face and neck.

When it's cold I wear a 3/4 helmet with a flip-up face shield. I aslo have a nylon and fleece neck warmer that can be pulled up to your nose. I have another fleece that velcro's around the back of my head. It comes up higher on the face and has mouth and nose openings. Got both from my HD dealer.
My 1/2 helmet is from Harley and has zip out ear flaps. They work great especially when paired with the neck/face warmer. I also use a 12" windscreen on my SG in winter and will be using a 8" smoked screen in summer.

Here in Maine I use a half helmet with a zip-out ear guard. Granted I run a EG Standard so i have the protection of the windscreen. So far it had worked down to 18 degrees....-CWO

You guys are better men than me. If the temp falls into the 50s I crank up the heat in the CAR. When I was a younger man my limit was 50, but now it is 60. Ever since I started taking blood pressure meds I feel cold much easier than before.

Gerbings heated clothing. Best stuff I ever bought, motorcycle wise. I find that with the heated pants, coat, gloves, and socks. I can ride with a "beanie" helmet and stay warm. Last year when we left for Daytona, it was 17 degrees. With the heated clothing, we rolled on, and never skipped a beat.
