I prefer Corbin seats , pay a little more but you get what you pay for and they are made in the USA . The one I bought came with a key that makes for easy on off {no tools needed} and not as easy to steal .

I have a Mustang on my RGthat was on my Ultra. I have a LaPera on my Fat Boy. I had a Corbin on my Yamaha.

My personal favorite is Mustang. I just ordered a new one for my RG.

Corbin! Takes a while to wear in butt definately worth it. Mustang is a bit plush (do you wear fingerless gloves???)

I'm a tight wad and I like chrome. So, I went with www.meancitycycles.com to have my seat dedone by Allen. Best choice I could have made For the $$$. $110 and it is as good as any corbin or mustang I have used.

I went with Corbin. After months of looking and comparing and asking to sit on other peoples rides to get a feel for different seats, I decided to go with a HD Sundowner. Liked it, at first, but after 2k miles I fount the riding position just wasn't comfortable. Even after installing the fancy HD backrest with the piston (which really sucked) not to mention looked like sh#*! on the bike. Finally broke down and spent the buks on a CorbinClassic Solo. BIG DIFFERENCE ...leather seat is waymore comfortable, and the rider position wasa little farther back and slightly lower than the SD. Also sprung for the oval backrest which made for the perfect setup. Of all the accesories I've put on the bike, the Corbin was by far the best.
Of course, different people have different backsides, so...... But Corbin is a quality product and you won't be disappointed. I would however recommend you find somebody with a Corbin andsit on it, just so you will knowwhat they mean by FIRM...vs HARD (and uncomfortable). Firmmeans support and support means comfort especially on all day rides.
Check ebay for big savings on used Corbins, then if you realiy hate it, you can dump it and not lose any/much $$. Alot of people buy new, ride it for 200 mi and decide it's too hard, and list it for auction. Good luck......
