RE: Exhaust
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new ride. As to your question about exhaust, you're gonna get lots of opinions here. First, about your bike. Is it completely stock? You may want to look at the air cleaner as well as the pipes. And if you do that you'll need to control the fuel mix. EFI or carb? Pipes? I've got Sampson Rolled Thunder and really like them. Not too loud, just a nice rumble. You can change just the pipes. But if you want the bike to run up to potential, look at the other things.

RE: Exhaust
Hi Anthony, Welcome aboard.
I have V & H Ovals and like the sound and the looks a lot. I had SE's before and these look much better, no exposed welded seams, and have a very distinctive style. As you can see by my aviator I have them connected to Bassani Power Curve True Dual Headers. That, in my opinion helps with the potato - potato sound, being both front and rear pipes are balanced to the same back pressure. Although the Ovals sounded good with stock header pipes, they sound even on both sides now.

[sm=welcomesign.gif] Try looking into the SE Slipons also as they sound very nice. I had these and could cruise at 80mph and still listen to my passenger/radio with no problems. I changed out to the V&H Ovals because I really love the look, now just gotta install them and hope they are comparable to the SE SLipons soundwise.
