Has there been any past posts with pics or any tips on install of hd oil cooler ? thanks !

How about this: Don't do it!

Seriously, I had the HD oil cooler fail after riding to Sturgis. It's stupid placement on the VR behind the tire that blocks the wind and throws mud. Stupid!

I replaced that with a JAGG verticle and have had no problems. Mine has a thermostat, fits nicely with my lower fairing and maintains 180-190 regardless of ambient. Even in Las Vegas traffic

You take the cooler put it into the chrome peace bolt it on the flat peace of metal
ypu remove the nuts to the regulater put the flat metal plate on regulater on top replace nuts

Remove oil filter install adapter watch the placement of gasket tighten with allen key

install hoses run and check oil

should take 1.5 hours and 2 beers to install

I installed one not long ago. Took several good pics during the install. For once, the directions for this install are not to difficult to follow although they do skip around a lot. Took me almost as long to read them as it did to install the cooler.

If you have a newer bike, ignore the instructions to move the wires for the Voltage Reg. It's not necessary.
