RE: Recommend a saddlebad organizer
For tools bought the Gear Wrench ( Socket, Torx and Allen ) set from Sears, was talked about in another post, and put it ina $5 shaving kit bag from Walmart. Also in the bag, air pressure gage, HD air shock pump, leatherman multi tool, tire plugs, CO2 air canisters, wire ties, extra fuses, tape and a small bottle of waterless bike cleaner. Does not take up much space in the saddle bag and containsmost toolsto do small roadside repairs.

not to get into another "which is the best tool puch" discussion, but i really like the lidgear bags as listed above...just from viewing the web site. I dont have these bags. I have the police style saddlebags which dont allow for using this type of tool pouch. We give up some bells and whistles, in exchange to open our saddlebags easily and from a seated position.
I use a 10$ leather shaving kit bag i got from wally world as a tool kit. I have way too much stuff in it..the thing weights 10# or so. But i feel safe when i leave home. One of my saddlebags always has a tool kit and rainsuit in it, no matter the weather.
Just my .02 worth.

I bought their side pouches too.
They hold enough for field use.
